Nigeria’s President Buhari Visits Lagos

Nigeria’s President Muhammdau Buhari has arrived Lagos. This visit is supposedly a two-day working visit. The Special Adviser to the president on New Media stated that this was an official visit that would see the president commissioning some projects.

The president would visit the Bola Tinubu’s Colloquium organised to mark the 66th Birthday of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu scheduled to hold at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos on Thursday.

President Buhari would also perform the official flag-off ceremony for the construction of the Lekki Deep Sea Port project, Ibeju Lekki. the multi-purpose Lekki Deep Sea Port, located at the heart of the Lekki Free Trade Zone, would be one of the most modern ports in West Africa, offering enormous support to the growing commercial operation across Nigeria and the entire West African region. The President would also inspect the ongoing construction works at the Eko Atlantic City, Victoria Island. The Eko Atlantic City Project is a planned city being constructed on land reclaimed from the Atlantic Ocean, it’s projected to accommodate at least 250,000 residents and a daily flow of 150,000 commuters, adding that the development will also have a positive environmental impact, as it will help in stopping the erosion of the State’s coastline. Lastly, the President would also commission the Ikeja Bus Terminal, expected to commute over a 100,000 residents across 23 bus routes in the State.We will keep you updated as other activities emerge

Opposition candidate bidding for presidential race has accuse the sitting president for draining the country to debt, adding that he and his brother are personally profiting and laundering money from the newly discovery of oil and gas reserves, before drilling has even begun.

Nigeria: You must not allow bloodshed – US Congressman writes Buhari

Chris Smith, a Political Editor United State Congressman has urged Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari to ensure that the Presidential election coming up this weekend will be free and fair.



In a letter to President Buhari, he states that the outcome of the election should replicate the standard past administration ensured. and also put in the necessary measures to ensure there wont be bloodshed.
