Liberia: Minister sentenced to jail for rude behaviour.

A deputy minister in Liberia was sentenced to two-days in jail for rude behavior.

Deputy Information Minister Eugene Fahngon spent his first night in cells on Wednesday and is expected to be released on Friday.



He is serving his term at the Monrovia Central Prisons, after the lower house of parliament found him guilty of abusing two members of the House of Representatives, the reporters in Liberia said.

Minister Fahngon honored an invitation from the lawmakers to explain the scuffle that led to him insulting the lawmakers.

But when he appeared before the house, he said he was not interested in explaining the viral contents but that the lawmakers could act on the matter as they wished.

The speaker, Bhofal Chambers, subsequently announced the sentence after which he was handcuffed and sent to jail. He said the House was informing the executive that the erring minister was a “non-governmental material.”

Liberia has an upper house of parliament which is the Senate, Until his election earlier this year, Weah served as a Senator for the Montserrado County.

Concealed fake dollar worth $20m found by Kenyan police.

The Criminal Investigation body in Kenya has disclosed that they have five personnel in custody following to the fake dollar worth  $20m (£15m).

Two source familiar with the situation states that, the fake dollars was found in Barclays Bank, Nairobi. alleged to be owned by an investor, although further investigation is still on progress.

Brazil: Unknown gunmen killed teenage students.

Police has condemned the incident that took place at a school in south east Brazil, killing at least seven students and one employee,



The reason of the attack is yet to be known as as investigation is still ongoing. However, the two gunmen who started the shooting later killed themselves.

São Paulo state governor João Doria,  expressed dismay after visiting the school, stating ”it is the saddest thing I’ve seen in my entire life. The teenagers who were brutally murdered”.
