This is the psychologist who buries his patients during therapy so that they “feel alive”.

Andrey Zhelvetro places his patients in coffins before burying them as part of psychological treatment .

His unusual methods became known after a villager found 12 empty coffins abandoned in the forest near the capital city of Kiev in northern Ukraine.

The villager reportedly found a dozen freshly dug graves at the scene and called the police.

Police began looking into the incident and their investigations led them to Zhelvetro, who reportedly admitted that the coffins were used by him in his psychological treatment.

According to the medical professional, he took 12 of his patients into the forest and buried them alive for two hours.

A video filmed by Zhelvetro and posted online with the purpose of advertising shows one of his patients undergoing the therapy.

The clip shows a coffin put into a freshly buried grave. A young man dressed in a white shirt is then seen lying down in the coffin before being buried.

A pipe can be seen sticking out of the coffin so the patient can breath during the two hours of the therapy.

Zhelvetro said: “I created this treatment few years ago. I was the first person who underwent it. This training helps you feel alive.”

Police investigations found no crime has been committed.

A police spokesperson said: “The training participants were buried voluntarily. Nobody was injured during the procedure.

“No signs of criminal activity have been found.”

Some netizens believe the therapy is dangerous, with ‘Viktoria Lukyanckuk’ commenting: “What if a panic attack comes over the buried person? A person can die from panic.”

Netizen ‘Gena Koktel’ said: “When I want to feel alive, I jump with a parachute.”

Manager Martin O’Neill and his assistant Roy Keane have parted company with the Republic of Ireland.

The pair took over the reins in 2013 and guided the Republic to the last 16 of the 2016 European Championships.

However, they did not win a competitive game in 2018 and were relegated from Uefa Nations League Group B4.

“I thank Martin, Roy, and the management team for the impact they had,” said Football Association of Ireland (FAI) chief John Delaney.

“There have been many highlights during Martin’s reign – none more so than Euro 2016 in France, which will live long in the memory of all Irish supporters.”

O’Neill, who leaves alongside his backroom team of Keane, Steve Guppy and goalkeeping coach Seamus McDonagh, signed a contract extension in January to remain as manager until 2020.
