18 November marks 90 years since the first appearance of Mickey Mouse in Steamboat Willie in November 1928 and the face of Disney is being celebrated worldwide.
Mickey along with his friends and some British celebs celebrated his 90th year at Disneyland Paris over the weekend and, as always, it was an event to remember.
During an onstage extravaganza Minnie and Mickey were joined by Swedish singer Zara Larsson, who sang Happy Birthday along with the crowd.
British celebs including McFly’s Danny Jones, his wife Georgia and their 9-month-old son, Cooper also posed for photos with Mickey and his friends at the event.
South Africa joined the global celebration in October with an exclusive local design project where ten highly talented local artists applied their own inspiration and artistic interpretation on 6-foot Mickey Mouse statues.
The statues formed part of the Mickey the True Original South African Exhibition which travelled to three cities throughout October and November.
