Kenya’s Anti-Corruption Commission wants Justice on bribery Suspects in Nairobi

On Wednesday evening, the two suspects who work for the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, were arrested in the capital, Nairobi.



The anti-corruption officers were handicapped by Kenyan police with fired warning shots to help two colleagues accused of bribery to escape from detention, Kenya’s Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) said.

The anti-graft body said the suspects were caught in a sting operation.

Undercover investigators offered the two police officers 100,000 Kenyan shillings ($975; £760), it added.

The news agency confirmed the situation stating that the Police is yet to respond on the allegations

The EACC has blast the Police officers for executing such act but remains confident that they will be brought to justice.
