Israel military operation to destroy Hezbollah tunnel

Israeli military spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Jonathan Conricus  has confirmed the call to destroy the tunnel between Lebanon and Israel allegedly dug by armed group Hezbollah on his twitter on Tuesday.



Israeli military spokesperson in a tweet, mr Avichay Adraee has accuse the Lebanese government for being responsible for the build-up of the tunnels, saying they are endangering Lebanese citizens.

Israeli Prime Minister also reacted to the development saying that the security of Israel is their top priority and whoever tries to attack the State will pay heavy price. also adding that “We will continue with additional actions – open and covert – in order to ensure the security of Israel.”

In 2006, Hezbollah and Israel fought out a war that left more than 1000 Lebanese, mostly civilians, and 129 Israelis dead.

Hezbollah has not responded to the military operation yet, but the UN mission near the Israel-Lebanon border, UNIFIL, said in a statement it was notified of the operation on Tuesday morning.

The United Nation Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) has confirmed the situation saying that no escalation have been recorded after announcement and they are working with all interlocutors in order to dialogue and to maintain peace.

Concealed fake dollar worth $20m found by Kenyan police.

The Criminal Investigation body in Kenya has disclosed that they have five personnel in custody following to the fake dollar worth  $20m (£15m).

Two source familiar with the situation states that, the fake dollars was found in Barclays Bank, Nairobi. alleged to be owned by an investor, although further investigation is still on progress.

Brazil: Unknown gunmen killed teenage students.

Police has condemned the incident that took place at a school in south east Brazil, killing at least seven students and one employee,



The reason of the attack is yet to be known as as investigation is still ongoing. However, the two gunmen who started the shooting later killed themselves.
