The driver had on Friday told the family that he drove and left Mildred at Ruaraka Uhai Neema Hospital and was only at the facility for about 20 minutes.

But according to the hospital records seen by Nation, the driver entered the hospital gates at 4:30am and left at 5:57 am, which contradicted her kin’s narrative.

The hospital’s management said it will review their CCTV footage to ascertain what the taxi driver was doing at the facility for that long.
