Nigeria: INEC receive Commonwealth officials ahead of Feb 16 Election

State run-media says that commonwealth officials  has arrived Nigeria to met with the chairman of Independence National Electoral Commission INEC, Prof Mahmood Yakubu over the forthcoming general election stated to take place on 16th February.


No official statement has been issued by the commission as the reason behind the scheduled meeting. Their discussion will not be far from, ‘how the commission would guarantee a free, fair and credible election’.

Mr Yahubu has urge Nigerians to go and collect their permanent voters Card PVC and anyone who fails to have it will not eligible to cast his|her vote

However, statement credited to the governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-rufai, last week threw Nigerians into panic.
