Dear reader, this is a cankerworm eating away at the very fabric of morals as we knew it. It went on under hushed tones for a long time. However, with the advent of technology and the easy dispersal of information by way of viral videos and posts, we have seen children undergoing the most horrific sexual assaults by deranged men and women who sometimes record themselves doing this in rare cases. This has raised awareness on the prevalence of child sexual abuse in our global societies.

Most parent neglect educating their children on sexual assault and the dangers involved in early sexual activities. According to human right ratings released, most likely incident associated with sexual assault is caused by neglect on educating young ones at their early stage.

We are ensuring that any parent who see’s this will take these points to heart and at least teach these children some if not all of these points to make them aware of the dangers around them. Here are guides to help parents mitigate sexual assault among children powered by Anttention Media.

  1. Parent should avoid getting dressed in front of their child once he/she is 2years old. learn to excuse them nor make use of another room.

  2. Instruct your child never to sit on someone’s laps no matter the relationship status.

  3. Always ensure you preview the cartoon your children watch to know whether it is sexually driven.

  4. Ensure you know the background of any caregiver you intend employing to look after your children.

  5. It is best for a mother to bath her child instead of imposing it on her caregiver.

  6. Never allow any adult refer to your child as ‘my wife’ or ‘my husband’.

  7. Never force your child to visit any adult he or she is not comfortable with and also be observant if your child becomes too fond of a particular adult.

  8. Always go with a caregiver to a tabernacle nor mosque to look after your child than allowing an unknown person to  look after her.

  9. When ever your child goes out to play make sure you look for a way to find out what kind of play they do, because young people now sexually abuse themselves.

  10. Children learn alot from symbols and signs, educate them with books that condemn sexual activities.

Facebook suspends thousands of apps in response to Cambridge Analytica row

Facebook Inc said, it has suspended tens of thousands of apps on the social networking platform, as part of the company’s ongoing app developer investigation it began in March 2018 in response to the Cambridge Analytica row.

The suspended apps are associated with about 400 developers, Facebook said, adding that it is not necessarily an indication that these apps were posing a threat to users.

Earlier this year, the company agreed to pay a record-breaking $5 billion fine to the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to resolve a government probe into its privacy practices.

The FTC privacy probe was triggered last year by allegations that Facebook violated a 2012 consent decree and inappropriately shared information of 87 million users with British political consulting firm Cambridge Analytica.

Facebook has since agreed to boost safeguards on user data and has put curbs on the amount of information that third-party developers can request from platform users.

“… We’re making progress. We won’t catch everything, and some of what we do catch will be with help from others outside Facebook,” the company said in a blogpost.
