The Nation reports that the FFS public relations officer, Anani Danlami confirmed the appointment on Friday, March 1.
Report gathered that Ibrahim was the assistant controller general in charge of policy, regulatory and inspectorate until his new appointment.
It was learnt that the new controller general’s appointment follows the retirement of his predecessor, Joseph Anebi whose six months extended tenure elapsed yesterday, February 28, 2018
Report had earlier reported that President Buhari at the APC presidential campaign council office addressed the nation shortly after being declared the winner of the 2019 presidential election.
In a brief speech by the president, he thanked Nigerians for re-electing him and praised the efforts of the national leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, and the party’s national chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, towards his successful re-election.
He also commended security agencies for a job well done during the election while expressing condolences over the lives lost during the polls.
Recall that President Buhari, on Friday, March 1, gave a hint into what his second term in government would look like. He has declared that he would be tougher this time around.
