This move by the PDP reflects the ongoing challenges faced by political parties in maintaining unity and discipline among their members. Political parties are typically made up of diverse groups with different interests and agendas, which can lead to internal conflicts and power struggles.

The PDP’s decision to take disciplinary action against its members sends a clear message that the party is committed to upholding its values and principles, and that it will not tolerate actions that undermine its unity and strength. However, it remains to be seen how this decision will affect the party’s prospects in future elections and whether it will be able to maintain its cohesion and effectiveness in the face of internal challenges.

In conclusion, the PDP’s decision to refer Governor Ortom to the National Disciplinary Committee and suspend several other prominent members underscores the importance of maintaining discipline and unity within political parties. While this move may have significant repercussions for the party’s future, it also highlights the challenges faced by political parties in managing diverse interests and maintaining a cohesive and effective organization.
