Nigerian Singer Tiwa Savage Set to Perform at King Charles III Coronation Concert
Excitement is in the air as Nigerian singer and songwriter Tiwa Savage is confirmed to perform at the highly anticipated King Charles III coronation concert. The historic event is scheduled to take place on May 7th at the majestic Windsor Castle grounds and will feature renowned musicians from around the globe.
Tiwa Savage’s inclusion in the concert lineup has generated immense enthusiasm among fans and music aficionados worldwide. Interestingly, Tiwa is the only Nigeria-based artist on the lineup, with JERUB, an emerging Nigerian-born and Nottingham-based musician, also billed to perform at the concert. JERUB, whose music incorporates elements of pop, soul, and indie, was recently shortlisted as a finalist in BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge Introducing talent search.

King Charles III ascended the throne on September 8, 2022, following the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II. King Charles III and his wife Camila will be officially crowned on May 6th. Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation took place on June 2, 1953, at Westminster Abbey in London after her father, King George VI, passed away on February 6, 1952.
