Nigerian On-Air Personality Nedu Says He Won't Marry a Virgin

Nigerian media personality and comedian, Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, popularly known as Nedu, sparked controversy recently when he revealed that he wouldn’t marry a virgin. Speaking on his podcast, ‘The Honest Bunch’, he stated that most virgins are not good at decision-making, and that non-virgins make better decisions.

Nedu’s statement has caused a stir on social media, with many people sharing their opinions on the matter. While some have agreed with him, others have strongly disagreed, saying that virginity should not be a determining factor in choosing a life partner.

In defense of his opinion, Nedu explained that most girls who are virgin tend to place a high value on their virginity, and may be more susceptible to being controlled by their husbands after marriage. He believes that an experienced woman would have a better understanding of what is right and wrong, and would be less likely to compromise her values.

However, critics have argued that virginity does not determine a person’s character or decision-making abilities, and that it is unfair to judge someone based solely on their sexual history. Some have also pointed out that Nedu’s comments are sexist, and reinforce harmful stereotypes about women.

It is important to note that everyone is entitled to their opinion, and there is no right or wrong answer when it comes to choosing a life partner. Ultimately, what matters most is finding someone who shares your values and treats you with respect and love.
