Yakubu Shehu is currently representing Bauchi Federal Constituency on the platform of the People’s Redemption Party (PRP). However, he defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2022 and subsequently picked the senatorial ticket on the platform of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).

The police are calling on anyone with valid information that will lead to his arrest for interrogation and arraignment on criminal charges to come forward. They have also promised a N1 million bounty on the lawmaker for anyone with useful information about his whereabouts.

This development is an indication of the Nigerian police’s resolve to combat crime and ensure that justice is served. It is also a reminder to public officials that they are not above the law and will be held accountable for their actions.

The declaration of Yakubu Shehu as a wanted person is a serious matter that should not be taken lightly. It is essential that anyone with information about his whereabouts comes forward to assist the police in their investigation. This will help to bring him to justice and ensure that he faces the full consequences of his actions.

The Nigerian government has been working to combat corruption and other forms of criminal activities in the country, and the police force plays a vital role in achieving this goal. It is essential that Nigerians support the police in their efforts to ensure that the rule of law is upheld in the country.
